Really needs soft ground to insert without damage

The heading on this item is misleading (loss of 1 star for that) you do not get 5M of edging you get just over 2M.
The edging itself is smaller than I expected - this is mostly my fault for looking at the pictures and not reading the sizes included in the description - rookie mistake as the pics are slightly misleading - anyways size wise they are just over half a house brick in height and about a brick in width. They clip together easily and look straight and fine until you get to put them in the ground - they have plastic flat stakes on them which buckle rather easily and as your fighting to get them into the ground - well if you have stony ground like me - the nice tidy line also buckles and moves.
Once in position they are fine and look decent - yes they dont look particularly like stone and are obviously plastic but they dont look bad or tacky - I actuually think they make the edging of the "flower" bed (in our case a strip of pebble covered ground with some plant pots by the path) quite tidy - obviously this is looking front on to them - if your looking at them from the back or side on then they dont look great.
They have been outside in wind and rain for a while without getting damaged and they look like they are there for the long haul.
Overall not bad value for the price - I would recommend just read the details on the sizing and the amount of coverage carefully rather than relying on the headline or images
Got this for my mother so she could border off areas of her garden which she has as separate areas.
They're plastic and have a hollow back and quite thin in design but seem to be ok if you back fill.
She's only managed to do one area so far as the weather had changed and she's backfilled with slate. It looks good once it's done but it's questionable how they will cope with pressure if someone walks on the slate.
You get a decent amount to border off and it was simple enough for my elderly mother to line up and fit.
